Bendigo has given me much, and I firmly believe that to those whom much is given, much is expected. This is why I have decided to run to represent the Whipstick Ward on the City of Greater Bendigo Council. I believe I have the skills and experience necessary to properly contribute back to the community of Whipstick Ward.

Life-long resident of Whipstick Ward
After being born in Bendigo in 1996, I haven’t really left Bendigo. I am privileged to come from an extremely supportive, hardworking, closeknit family. Mum and Dad provided me with countless opportunities growing up and for that I will be forever grateful.
I attended Eaglehawk North Primary School, and it was here that I developed a love of learning. I have always been a bit of a nerd, loving Science and Maths at school. In fact, I loved them so much I decided I wanted to pursue them as a career. Teaching Science and Maths feels like a true calling for me; I love nothing more than being in the classroom, teaching (and learning from) the young people of Bendigo.
Outside of teaching, I wear many different hats:
I love theatre and music (all sorts of music). Throughout high school and ever since, I have loved performing. I’ve been a member of the Bendigo Theatre Company since 2017 and have been involved with dozens of productions in a variety of roles. In 2018 I was elected to the committee of management, where I served until 2023. In 2022, I was elected president of the company. Being at the helm of this organisation throughout the COVID pandemic became a crash-course in crisis management, good communication, and the importance of optimism.
I have also been a member of the Bendigo Symphony Orchestra, performing in a number of concerts since 2017. I have performed as the first chair of the double basses, and I am very much looking forward to playing in the final concert of 2024 and their 2025 season—come along and have a listen to this phenomenal regional ensemble.
I love sport. I come from a big sporting family, and while I’m not the most gifted sportsperson, I still love getting involved when I can. As a kid, I played soccer and cricket for Eaglehawk and obtained my Junior Black Belt in Karate. Currently, I play mixed netball and am also a goal umpire for the Bendigo Umpires Association. When I’m not donning the fluro-green shirt, I can be seen supporting my siblings at Eaglehawk FNC games, and the Sydney Swans in the AFL.
